NCECA 2025 - Post Event

Whew! NCECA was awesome! There are so many amazing potters out there and I am completely blown away by the work that they do.

Some Highlights:
The K-12 room was absolutely amazing! Young Artists completely blew me away with the attention to detail they put into their work and the stories they told.

The mug sale room was amazing! Hundreds of pieces made by potters with a wide range of interests and skill levels. Next time I will bring some pieces to include.

The Clayshare mug exchange was fun, and I was glad to have taken part. I took home a lovely piece from North Shore Arts Center in Hawaii. Thank you so much for finding me in the group! Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the person who took home the piece I made. I hope they loved it as much as I did.

I played a game which I hope to play at future NCECA events, collecting potters like Pokémon. I was able to find 3 of the 4 potters I was looking for and captured a 5th I spotted in the wilds who I didn’t know would be there.
